Tradition Julen Hotel Zermatt

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The location was perfect, with the gondola and ski bus stop just a short walk away. We enjoyed delicious meals in both restaurants and the service was exceptional. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains and the bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The breakfast selection was fantastic and we loved the free coffee in our room. The hotel also had a beautiful swimming pool and a gym for guests to use.

The only downside was that our room was slightly smaller than expected, but the balcony offered a spectacular view of the mountains.

We had an amazing experience at Tradition Julen Hotel. The attention to romantic detail throughout the hotel was amazing. The spa area with the sauna, steam rooms, and Egyptian pool was a luxurious treat. The view of the Matterhorn was amazing and made our stay lovely. The staff were friendly and were really nice too make our stay special. The buffet spread during breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options for vegetarian food. The combination of modern equipment and traditional decor in our room was beautiful. We also appreciated the complimentary serving of refrigerator drinks. we highly recommend this hotel for a romantic stay.

While our overall experience at the hotel was fantastic, we did notice a few minor drawbacks. The bed was a bit too firm for our liking, and the pillows were too soft and saggy.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a mountain retreat in Switzerland. The hotel was conveniently located near the ski bus stop, making it easy for me to get to the slopes. The highlight was definitely the delicious meals in both restaurants, with generous portions and a wide variety of options. The breakfast spread was also impressive, with fresh juices, Swiss cheeses, and locally sourced meats. The view of the mountains from the room was breathtaking.

I did find the wellness area to be a bit old-fashioned and lacking in relaxation spaces.

Lovely staff and family presence. Tradition Restaurant is nice, dinners superb. Great pool and spa. Nespresso machine and complimentary drinks in room. Highly recommended, loved it.

We loved the location of this hotel, as it was in the perfect area and within a 10-minute walking distance from the station. The service here was fantastic, with room service, dry cleaning, and bicycle hire available. The staff were attentive and helpful, and the housekeeping was impeccable. The room amenities were great, including a mini-bar, sitting area, and terrace. The spa and wellness center was a treat, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the option for special diet menus.

We would definitely recommend this place to our friends.

The service at Romantik Hotel Julen was really good. I hit my head on the TV in my room, but the housekeeper immediately put on a top cover to soften the mattress, which helped. The friendly staff were great too ensure my comfort. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Julen Romantik is amazing! Excellent staff, fantastic rooms, and a fine restaurant. The farm visit was a must-do, with delicious wine, cheese, and meats. Free shuttle transfers were a great perk, and the view of the Matterhorn was amazing. Super clean rooms and great amenities, including a swimming pool. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the afternoon treat of cake and coffee was a lovely touch.

The staff at the hotel were very nice - courteous, professional, and helpful. They really made our stay nice. The two excellent restaurants and fun bar in the same building were also a great convenience. the buffet breakfast was excellent.

The rooms were a bit small and had low ceilings, a bit tight for us with our large bags. as an average height person, it didn't bother me too much.
